In Mexico, Chalino was a well-known singer and songwriter. His best-selling albums included Alma Enamorada, Nieves de Enero, Baraja de Oro, and numerous others.
On May 16, 1992, he received a headshot to the back. When two farmers found Sanchez’s body, he was bound with rope and had markings on his wrists.
