Elon Musk’s Starlink slashes hardware, subscription prices for Nigerians
The monthly costs of SpaceX’s hardware and subscription plan have been lowered to N274,098 and N19,260, respectively, by Elon Musk’s satellite company.
As previously reported by Nairametrics, Starlink had set the price of its gear at $600 and its monthly subscription at $43, which translates to about N438,000 and N31,000 at the rate of the black market.
Some Nigerians who pre-ordered the equipment last year paid the first sum in dollars. But now that the company’s pricing are listed in naira, Nigerians can use their naira debit card to make payments.
