Transfer Update: Folarin Balogun To Undergo Medical As Monaco Agrees €40m Fee
Folarin Balogun is gearing up for a medical evaluation with Monaco in anticipation of a summer move.
Monaco, a Ligue 1 team, has reached an agreement with Arsenal for the striker’s transfer.
Both clubs have now settled on a comprehensive deal amounting to €40 million for Balogun, with his medical examination scheduled for the upcoming weekend, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners will also secure a noteworthy sell-on clause in the arrangement.
Balogun boasts experience in France’s top-flight league, impressively netting 22 goals for Reims last season while on loan from Arsenal. He’s now on the brink of a return, after only making 10 senior appearances for the north London club.
