An unknown woman had come forward around the time Ryan left, claiming that she had been having a sexual relationship with the voice actor since she was seventeen years old. The situation was then brought to a higher level by a Reddit member who compiled a spreadsheet listing other accusations made against Ryan.
A couple of the allegations date back to 2004, but the majority were made between 2016 and 2019. One of the victims described Ryan as a cunning predator who frequently used power relationships to ask underage girls for sexual favors.
