Nigerian artistPeter Okoyeof P-Square fame has slammedpoliticiansfor using tribe as an excuse to cover evil in Nigeria.
Peter Okoye has taken to his Twitter page to lament over how somepoliticiansare using tribes to cover up the evil that has been ongoing in the country.
According to Peter Okoye, a perception has been created that the Yorubas and the people of Igbos are enemies. He used himself as a case study. He stated that he an Igbo man married a woman from the Yoruba land while adding that Yorubas do not hate the Igbos and vice-versa.
According to Peter Okoye, politicians only care about the monies that will go into their pockets and not other persons.
“I am an Igbo man married to a Yoruba woman! Igbos do not hate Yorubas. Neither do Yorubas hate Igbos. Politicians are using tribes as an excuse to cover their evil They don’t like you whether Igbo or Yoruba. They only care about their pockets. Be wiser”,he tweeted.
