Who hired Willie Desjardins?

On June 23, 2014, Jim Benning hired Willie Desjardins as head coach of the Vancouver Canucks. On October 8, 2014, Willie made his regular-season coaching debut with the organization.

Willie had a 109-110-27 record between the time he was employed and when he was fired. With a victory percentage of.498, he is ranked seventh among Vancouver’s head coaches.

Willie was named interim head coach of the Los Angeles Kings on November 4, 2018, after John Stevens was dismissed. Willie’s presence did not help the team improve, as the King’s finished last in the Western Conference with a record of 27-34-8.

The Kings announced Desjardins’ departure from the 2019-20 season just one day after the season ended.
