Lauren Hutton initially appeared on the cover of Vogue in the 1960s, and she has since been on a total of 40 covers.
At the height of her career, Hutton was one of the most sought-after and well-paid supermodels in the world.
She was chosen for three distinct Vogue covers by three different editors.

Hutton has worked as a model and an actor throughout her career, making her film début opposite Alan Alda in the sports drama Paper Lion in 1968.
She also starred in the films The Gambler (1974) and American Gigolo (1980), and went on to star in the television shows Paper Dolls and Nip/Tuck.
Hutton continued to model long into her seventies, appearing in ads for H&M, Lord and Taylor, and Alexander Wang, as well as walking the runway for Tom Ford’s spring 2012 collection and Bottega Veneta at New York Fashion Week in 2016.
Hutton, who is now 78 years old, grew up in the southern United States.
In her early twenties, she moved to New York City to pursue a modeling career.
In 1973, Hutton signed a modeling deal with Revlon, which was the largest modeling contract in history at the time.
