What does Inoki mean in Hawaiian?
The name Inoke comes from the Hawaiian language and means “devoted.” It is usually given to men. This name comes from Fiji.
Muhammad Hussain Inoki was a Japanese professional wrestler, martial artist, politician, and promoter of both professional wrestling and mixed martial arts.
He was born in Tsurumi Ward, Yokohama, Japan, on February 20, 1943.
Inoki started wrestling professionally in the 1960s for the Japan Pro Wrestling Alliance (JWA). Rikidzan taught him how to do it. Inoki quickly became one of the most famous wrestlers in Japanese pro wrestling history.

Inoki’s last match was against Don Frye on April 4, 1998. In 2010, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Inoki started his career as a promoter when he started New Japan Pro-Wrestling in 1972. (NJPW).
Inoki went into politics in 1989, even though he was still wrestling at the time. He was elected to the Japanese House of Councillors.
His first term in the House of Councillors ended in 1995, but in 2013, he was chosen to serve again. Inoki stopped being a politician in 2019.
He was best known by his ring name, Antonio Inoki, which was a tribute to Antonino Rocca, another professional wrestler.
On October 1, 2022, Inoko passed away.
