Vin Scully Wives: Are Vin Scully’s Wives Still Alive?
Vin Scully, a Dodgers Hall of Fame broadcaster, married Joan Crawford and Sandra Hunt two times. Sadly, Scully’s two marriages are both deceased.
When Joan, his first wife, passed away in 1972 at the age of 35, they had been together for almost 15 years.
Joan reportedly died from a “accidental overdose of medicine,” according to sources. Vin raised all three of the small children he and Joan had together after Joan passed away.

Sandra Hunt, who was working as the Los Angeles Rams’ secretary at the time, became Vin’s second wife in 1974, two years after Joan passed away.
Sandra’s first marriage resulted in the birth of two children. Sandra and Vin did, however, go on to have a daughter of their own, named Catherine.

According to USA Today, Sandra died in January 2021 at the age of 76 as a result of complications from Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a neurological condition that impairs physical function and weakens muscles.

In this disease, nerve cells break down, which reduces functionality in the muscles that they supply. The cause is unknown and its main symptom is muscle weakness.
Medication and therapy can slow ALS and reduce discomfort, but there’s no cure.
Sadly, Vin Scully, the voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers for more than six decades, also died at his home in Hidden Hills, California, at the age of 94. A cause of death was not given.
