Two Rivers Teacher Arrested

Two Rivers Teacher Arrested – On Wednesday, May 25, Rebecca Klips, a former Two Rivers teacher accused of having an ongoing sexual contact with a kid, made her first appearance in court.

According to a press statement, the Two Rivers Police Department received information that Rebecca Kilps, 34, was having sexual relations with a 17-year-old pupil.

After conducting an investigation, officers arrested the teacher for three charges of Sexual Assault of a Child by a School Instructional Staff Person, a Class H Felony.

The Two Rivers School District has cooperated throughout the investigation, and no other victims have been identified.

A court commissioner held Rebecca Kilps, 34, on a $10,000 cash bond. She will make her first appearance in court on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Kilps knew the contact was illegal and had been going on for two years, according to Assistant District Attorney Anthony Lambrecht, who spoke in court on Wednesday.
