Tommy Boggs Cause Of Death

Tommy Boggs, who was the head baseball coach at Concordia University Texas for a long time and a former Major League Baseball player, has died. He was born on October 25, 1955, and he died on October 5, 2022, when he was 66 years old, twenty days before he would have turned 67.

What caused Tommy Boggs to die? Boggs died after he fought cancer for a long time.

When Boggs died, he was about to start his 13th season as head coach at Concordia University.

As the coach of the Concordia Tornados, he led the team to 325 wins, which is the most wins in the team’s history.

He has done things like get the team into five NCAA regionals, one NCAA super regional, win three American Southwest Conference tournament titles (in 2011, 2012, and 2013), and win three ASC regular season titles (in 2014, 2016, and 2018).

Ronda Seagraves, vice president of student experience and athletics, paid tribute to the veteran coach by saying;

“Tommy has left his mark on Concordia University.

“But his legacy is much bigger than our campus. He has been a great leader in the Austin baseball community and has made a difference in the lives of many athletes over many years. Everyone who knew and loved him will miss him very much.”
