“There is no equality in marriage, the husband should always be the head” – Reno Omokri
Reno Omokri, a Nigerian novelist and social media star, has stated that marriage is not equal.
He believed that men were created to be the family’s head in any marriage arrangement. He continued by saying that when a man proposes to a woman, he is merely promising to care for her, cover her expenses, and keep her secure.
He further stated that for a marriage to be blissful, the woman should always be submissive to her husband.
In his words:
“The happiest marriages take place when women freely choose to wed men who they desire to obey and follow. When women choose to wed males they do not wish to follow and obey, the most unhappy marriages result. Marriage does not promote equality.
“The spouse ought to be in charge at all times! A man is actually applying for a job when he asks a woman, “Will you be my wife?” Being her boss, covering her expenses, and upholding her honor are all part of the job. Do not apply for the position if you are not qualified for it. Accepting his request might be inappropriate if you don’t want a boss. Forget being awake. 90% of the issues in modern marriage will be resolved by this straightforward rule.
