South African rapper, AKA feared dead after being shot
AKA, a well-known Hip Hop artist from South Africa, is said to have been shot dead in a drive-by.
According to local media, the shooting incident happened on Friday night at 10 p.m. along Florida Road in Durban, South Africa.
The rapper was verified by the Durban police to be a victim of a drive-by shooting that also left one of his bodyguards wounded and resulted in the death of another unidentified person who is believed to be a close friend of AKA.
AKA was reportedly standing outside the Wish Restaurant when two automobiles started shooting at the Grammy-winning musician.
He was allegedly shot six times.

Police responded to a distress call and cordoned off the area when an IOL team arrived at the scene on Friday night.
Spokesperson for ALS Paramedics Garrith Jamieson, said Florida Road has been closed off after the shooting incident.
Jamieson added that amongst the deceased was a “famous rapper”.
It was gathered that the alleged rapper, was billed to perform at a Durban night club, YUGO as part of his birthday celebrations.
