Singer Morgan Wallan dropped by Radio Stations after video emerged of him using Racial Slur
Singer Morgan Wallan – After a video surfaced showing country music star Morgan Wallen uttering a racial slur, radio stations began pulling his songs on Wednesday morning, February 3.
On a Ring doorbell footage from a neighbor’s house, Morgan Wallen, 27, can be heard using the n-word.
Wallen was staggering about outside his house after a night out with his mates in Nashville. When the country artist uttered the slur before stepping inside, he asked someone to keep an eye on another man at the house.
After the footage was posted, Wallen told TMZ that he was humiliated and apologized. He also said that the racial epithet was “inappropriate.”
Music services have began to remove Wallen’s music since the video went viral.
Cumulus Media, one of the largest country music radio networks in the United States, urged its radio affiliates to take his music off the air on Wednesday. Variety also issued a message instructing its staff to remove Wallen’s songs “without exception” from their playlists.

In October, Wallen made global headlines when he was fired from Saturday Night Live for violating the show’s COVID-19 rule. Last year, he was again arrested in Downtown Nashville for public intoxication.
Many admirers were outraged by Wallen’s remark on social media, and some are even advocating for his cancellation following his recent incident.
