Randy Weaver Son – Randall In the 1992 Ruby Ridge standoff, Claude Weaver was a major figure. In an armed encounter with US Marshals and FBI officers, Weaver, his family, and a friend named Kevin Harris were involved.

Weaver was later shot in the back by a government sniper. Harris was also shot by the same shooter. The same bullet killed Vicki Weaver, who was standing outside the Weaver’s front door when Harris was hit. Vicki was expecting the family’s first child.

Weaver was apprehended by federal officials 11 days after the incident began. Murder, conspiracy, assault, and other charges were filed against him. He was acquitted of all charges except failing to appear in court for the original guns.

Weaver was sentenced to 18 months in prison. His family was awarded $3,100,000 in compensation after his wife and child were killed by federal officers.
