Oleksandr Usyk Beats Anthony Joshua To Become The New Heavyweight Champion
Nineteen fights, Nineteen wins, no draw, and a defeat, Oleksandr Usyk becomes the new heavyweight champion of the world after beating the British, Anthony Joshua in London by unanimous points decision.
Oleksandr Usyk is the new WBA (Super), IBF, WBO & IBO Heavyweight Champion of the world. This is not the first time Anthony Joshua has lost his belts.

Anthony Joshua was beaten by Andy Ruiz in New York in June 2019 before he regained the titles six months later in the rematch in Saudi Arabia.
Anthony Joshua has now won 24 and lost two, as against Oleksandr Usyk who has a perfect record of 19 victories from 19 fights. The two defeats were against the American professional boxer, Andy Ruiz Jr and the Ukrainian professional boxer, Oleksandr Usyk.
“This means a lot for me, ” Oleksandr Usyk told Sky Sports after defeating Anthony Joshua in London.
“The fight went the way I expected it to go. There were moments when Anthony pushed me hard but it was nothing special.
“I had no objective to knock him out because my corner pushed me not to do that. In the beginning, I tried to hit him hard, but then I stuck to my job.”

Oleksandr Usyk continued by given praise to Jesus Christ for granting him the victory over Anthony Joshua because he believes in Christianity.
“The only thing I wanted to do with this fight is to give praise to Jesus Christ.
“I have been working so hard since January in preparation for this fight, it took me half a year and I didn’t see my family for so long. I missed seeing them playing. I want to go home and be happy with my family and I’m not thinking about the rematch.”
