Old tweet of Seun Kuti praising Tinubu for ushering Buhari into power surfaces

Internet users have found an old tweet from Seun Kuti thanking Bola Tinubu, an APC presidential candidate, for helping to install President Buhari.

Remember that Cuzideas reported on a fight between Seun Kuti and musician Peter Okoye of P-Square yesterday afternoon when the latter referred to Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, as a “opportunist.”

Seun Kuti claims that Peter Obi cannot save Nigeria and that he turned to the Labour Party after falling short of the PDP. Peter Okoye was offended by Seun Kuti’s remark and ended up dragging the artist by saying that he had obliterated his father’s past.

In the middle of the online teasing, some Nigerians have located a tweet from 2015 in which Seun thanked Tinubu for installing Buhari.

The tweet read:

I thank Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for bringing this change. Aluta Continua.
