Maggie Peterson Obituary – Maggie Peterson, who starred in the Andy Griffith Show, died on May 15, 2022. She was 81 years old.

“We regret to inform you that our beautiful Aunt Maggie passed away yesterday afternoon,” the family wrote on Facebook today. “She died quietly in her sleep, surrounded by her family.”

From 1963 through 1968, Maggie worked as Charlene Darling on The Andy Griffith Show.

The actress also appeared in the second season of NBC’s The Bill Dana Show, when she played Susie the coffee shop waiter.

Peterson appeared in a number of TV shows in the late 1960s and early 1970s, including Green Acres, Gomer Pyle: USMC, The Odd Couple, and Love, American Style.

She appeared in television shows such as The Bill Dana Show, Griffith, Love, American Style, Green Acres, and The Odd Couple, as well as the 1969 film The Over-the-Hill Gang.

After a role on The Magical World of Disney in 1987, she quit from performing and began working for the Nevada Film Commission.
