Leonard Gordon Cause Of Death – Rita Moreno is an American actress, dancer, and singer who was born in Puerto Rico and is best recognized for her contributions to the entertainment business.

Rosa Dolores Alvero Marcano was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, on December 11, 1931, to Rosa Mara Marcano (a seamstress) and Francisco José “Paco” Alvero (a farmer).
In 1936, Rita Moreno and her mother relocated to New York City. Francisco, her younger brother, is her only sibling. She grew up in the Long Island towns of Valley Stream, which are part of the municipality of Hempstead, which borders New York City.
Rita Moreno is one of the few performers to have won all four major American entertainment awards: the Emmy, the Grammy, the Oscar, and the Tony. In 2015, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, America’s highest civilian honor, as well as a Kennedy Center Honor for her commitment to American culture through the performing arts.
Rita Moreno is one of only 24 people to have won the Triple Crown of Acting, which includes individual Academy, Emmy, and Tony awards. In 2010, she received the Peabody Career Achievement Award, which she received again in 2019.

Leonard Gordon, Rita Moreno’s spouse, died on June 30, 2010. Moreno married cardiologist and internist Leonard Gordon in 1965, and the two were married until Gordon’s death in 2010.
