Lauren Bernett Heart Attack – Lauren Bernett, a James Madison University softball player, died on Tuesday (April 26, 2022).

Lauren Bernett, a sophomore catcher from McDonald, Pennsylvania, was an important part of James Madison’s run to the 2021 Women’s College World Series last season.

Lauren Bernett was just 20 years old.

James Madison University wrote in a statement announcing her death:

“College athletics is fantastic because of the people we get to deal with on a daily basis.”

“We’re a close-knit family.”

“We are pleased Lauren has been a member of our JMU Athletics community, and she will always be a Duke to us.” “She will be sorely missed.”

No cause of death was revealed at the time of the announcement.

However, according to new findings released today (April 27, 2022), Lauren Bernett’s death was an apparent suicide.

Lauren Bernett‘s death was described as an apparent suicide by Rockingham County Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson, who said his office was still investigating her tragic death.

Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson, on the other hand, stressed that the medical examiner’s office has yet to provide an official report.
