Josh Frydenberg Speech – Since August 2018, Joshua Anthony Frydenberg has served as the federal treasurer and deputy leader of the Liberal Party in Australia. Since the 2010 election, he has been the Member of Parliament for Kooyong.

Josh Frydenberg has made his first public speech since realizing that he will likely lose his Senate seat in 2022. Mr Frydenberg, flanked by his wife Amie, spoke to supporters at his election night rally in Kooyong.
Mr. Frydenberg thanked the people of Kooyong, Australia, the Liberal Party, and his colleagues for their support. “But most importantly, thank you to my family,” he said.
As he reflected on his time in Parliament, Mr Frydenberg became emotional, saying he was proud to have started the JobKeeper project to keep people employed during the Covid-19 period.

“No one has ever voted for Josh Frydenberg exclusively.” “They’ve always voted for the Liberal Party’s candidate in Kooyong,” he told the gathering.
“The Liberal Party’s ideals have driven us for over 70 years and helped us become Australia’s most successful party.”
Mr Frydenberg’s speech was punctuated by audience applause and cheers, with one man yelling, “You’re a bloody terrific captain, Josh,” and another declaring, “You’ll be back.”
