Joan Boocock Lee Cause of Death: How did Stan Lee’s wife Die?
The American comic book writer, editor, publisher, and producer Stan Lee’s wife Joan Boocock Lee passed away in Los Angeles on July 6, 2017, as a result of stroke-related complications.
She passed away in the presence of her daughter, her husband of almost 70 years, and Joan. British birth records indicate she was 95 at the time of her death, despite the claims of other sources that she was 93.
Joan Boocock Lee was both a voice actress and a model.
While working as a hat model in New York City in the 1940s, she met her future husband Stan Lee.
In 1981, Stan and Joan Lee moved to Los Angeles from New York City. She provided the voice for a number of animated Marvel programs in the 1990s.

In 1994, she made her initial appearance in Fantastic Four as a recurring character. She provided the computer voice in three episodes of the Iron Man TV show in 1994. Later, from 1996 to 1998, she made an appearance in eight episodes of Spider-Man as Madame Web.
Judith Boocock In 2010, Lee made an appearance in the Stan Lee biopic With Great Power: The Stan Lee Story. The last time Lee and her husband shared a screen time was in the 2016 movie X-Men: Apocalypse.
