Ashleigh Bell, Kate, and Olivia Ledger received half of Ledger’s estate, along with Ashleigh. After obligations were settled, a portion was to be given to his parents, Sally Bell and Kim Ledger.

His daughter Matilda received the most of this cash in his will. Heath’s former fiancée Michelle Williams, who is also an actor, is Matilda’s mother.

Ledger began his career in his native Australia and went on to participate in 19 movies during his career.

In the film “10 Things I Hate About You,” he had one of his early successful roles. A Knight’s Tale and Monster’s Ball were two other works of note by him.

His most well-known performances came from “Brokeback Mountain” and “The Dark Knight,” both of which received rave reviews. He was nominated and awarded for a number of film critic awards for Brokeback Mountain. Along with co-star Jake Gyllenhall, he also shared the “Best Kiss” MTV Movie Award victory.

He received a posthumous Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of the Joker in “The Dark Knight,” in which he costarred with Christian Bale as Batman.
