Funke Akindele loses her mother

According to reports, Dr. RB Adebanjo-Akindele, mother of well-known Nigerian actress and politician Funke Akindele, passed away just a few hours ago.

The actress Funke Akindele’s older sister, Olubunmi Akindele, posted the depressing information on her social media website.

Sharing the heart-wrenching news, Funke’s sister wrote;

The ADEBANJO and AKINDELE families announce the demise of their daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister, DR. R B ADEBANJO-Akindele, who occurred on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, with broken hearts but complete surrender to God Almighty.

“May her kind soul finally find rest in peace, Amen. Obsequies in her memory will be announced when the time is appropriate.
