Frankie Rex Obituary

Frankie Rex Obituary – Frankie Rex, a rising transgender singer and part of the alternative group The FMs, has died.

They were 37 years old.

Rex’s bandmate Matte Namer stated on their official website and social media channels that Rex died of “apparent fentanyl toxicity” while with their spouse at their home in Ithaca, New York.

Rex was well-known in New York City’s alternative-punk scene.

Throughout the late 2000s and early 2010s, Rex was a member of several rock bands, including queer punk trio BOYS and stoner punk band The Violent Orange.

Rex’s death, according to Namer, marks the end of The FMs for the time being, describing it as “a beautiful dream we had to wake up from far too soon.”

Namer also revealed that the team had recorded enough material for at least two albums, which they planned to release at a later date.
