Fabrizio Moretti is a Brazilian-American musician and visual artist best known for being the drummer for The Strokes, an American rock band.

Fabrizio Moretti was born in Rio de Janeiro, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on June 2, 1980. His father Stefano was a nuclear engineer from Italy, while his mother Ana Moretti is from Brazil. Leo Moretti, his older brother, reared him.

Fabrizio Moretti and his family moved to New York City when he was three years old. He attended the Anglo American International School, where he met Nick Valensi and Julian Casablancas, members of his band. He went on to SUNY New Paltz to study sculpture.

Fabrizio Moretti later skipped out to pursue a career in music with The Strokes. Since 2001, he has recorded six studio albums with the band. Fabrizio Moretti is a citizen of the United States. He can communicate in English, Portuguese, Italian, and French.
