Born to Harris and record producer Brian Ahern, Ahern is an American writer.
Ahern was born in Burbank, California, on September 9, 1979.
The Darkest Hour (2011) and The Darkest Hour: Deleted and Extended Scenes are two of her well-known works (2012).
Mika Hallie Slocum
The daughter of Emmylou Harris, Mika was born on March 15, 1970. Tom Slocum, Harris’s ex-first husband, is her father.

Emmylou Harris is a singer-songwriter with scores of albums and hits to her credit.
United States citizen Harris was born on April 2, 1947, in Alabama. He joined the Grand Ole Opry in 1992.
She has worked with many artists, including Rodney Crowell, Buddy Miller, Patty Griffin, Lucinda Williams, Alison Krauss, Lee Ann Womack, Martina McBride, Vince Gill, and Sheryl Crow, as a bandleader, song interpreter, and backup vocalist.
In the 2008 movie Nights in Rodanthe, Harris is credited with writing the song “In Rodanthe.”
She earned praise for her solo album, All I Intended To Be, which she released that same year.
Some of her many musical compositions are “Gone, Long Gone,” “Blackhawk,” and “Boulder to Birmingham.” She has a vast body of work.
Harris holds the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
She has had 48 Grammy Award nominations thus far, and she has received 14.
