Chris’s father, Ted, was a professional ice hockey player who played as a left winger in the NHL during the 1960s and 1970s. He was born in Winnipeg, Canada on December 8, 1944. Throughout his career, he played for various teams including the Boston Bruins, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, and St. Louis Blues from 1963 to 1977. Ted’s career statistics show that he scored a total of 331 points in 774 games played. During his career, he wore the jersey number 27.
Loretta Vivian Irvine
Chris’s mother, Loretta, was born on September 17, 1943, but unfortunately passed away on December 2, 2005, at the age of 62. During her marriage with Ted, they eventually got divorced.

Chris Jericho Early Life And Career
At the age of 19, Chris began his wrestling training at the Hart Brothers School of Wrestling under the guidance of Ed Langley and local Calgary wrestler Brad Young. Following his training, he started wrestling on independent shows and worked for notable figures such as Tony Condello, Adam Copeland (Edge), Jason Reso (Christian), and Terry Gerin (Rhino). Chris also competed in Canadian National Wrestling Alliance (CNWA) and Canadian Rocky Mountain Wrestling (CRMW) based in Calgary.
Aside from his wrestling career, Chris has ventured into acting. He appeared in the 2006 Sci-Fi film Android Apocalypse with Scott Bairstow and Joey Lawrence. Chris also has experience in theater acting, having performed in the comedy play Opening Night. Additionally, he hosted the sketch comedy show Sunday Night Live with the comedy troupe The Sketchersons.
