Carlos Dunlap Sr. Cause Of Death, Carlos Dunlap Sr. was killed by an automobile on Ashley Phosphate Road on Saturday night.

The driver who was involved in the accident was apprehended on the site. According to authorities, no charges have been filed yet.

Dunlap is the father of North Charleston native Carlos Dunlap Jr., a defensive end with the Seattle Seahawks.

Friends and friends have been sending condolences to the sad family in droves.

“Today, we lost a tremendous Patriot supporter — Carlos Dunlap Sr. died away – and I want his family to know how much I and the rest of our football family will miss him.” In a statement, Fort Dorchester Athletics Director and Head Football Coach Steve LaPrad said, “We send our support and prayers.”

Dunlap was the owner of a North Charleston bail bonding company. His wife, Dr. Diana Ross-Jackson, and three children survive him.

Carlos Dunlap II had already honored his parents at the NFL’s Salute to Service, and he and Dr. Ross-Jackson were both veterans.
