The singer and songwriter had not been able to walk on about 5 years, as he had a torntendonin his ankle. His wife also revealed that he had been “Floxed”, a condition that took over his health for over 6 years.

The news of Bobby’s death was announced through his official Twitter page by his wife on Wednesday, March 15.

The Tweet reads:

”Bobby passed away here at home. I held him tight in my arms as he left us. I am forever heartbroken. Thanks to all of you for your many prayers over the years. He had been “FLOXED,” it took his health over the last 6 years and 2 months. Rest with God, my Love. -Mary Caldwell”
