In 2001, she gave birth to Anna Lou, her first child. The father is the lead singer of the Italian rock band Bluvertigo, Morgan. She gave her kid the name Anna Ceroli in honor of her half-sister, who perished in a motorbike accident.
Argento wed director Michele Civetta in Arezzo on August 27, 2008. Nicola Giovanni, her second child, was born in Rome in 2008. 2013 saw the couple’s divorce. She resides in Rome’s Vigna Clara district with her kids.
As they worked together on the Parts Unknown episode about Rome in 2016, Argento started dating Anthony Bourdain. Along with Argento, Bourdain started speaking out about her accusations against Harvey Weinstein and the events that followed. It is said that Bourdain’s relationship with Argento contributed to his decision to take his own life in 2018
