Alan White Children: Meet Casse White And Jesse White (Yes Drummer)
Alan White Children – Alan White was a drummer and lyricist from England.
White was most known for his time as a drummer for the progressive rock band Yes, which he joined in 1972 as a substitute for Bill Bruford, the band’s original drummer.
After the death of bassist Chris Squire in 2015, White became the band’s longest-serving member.
After being invited to play at the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival festival, followed by a show at the Lyceum Ballroom, White joined John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s Plastic Ono Band in 1969.
On the singles “Instant Karma!” and “Imagine,” as well as eight of the ten tracks on John Lennon’s 1971 album Imagine, White performed drums.
