Act now, Fulani herdsmen have taken over Ondo – Pastor Giwa tells Gov Akeredolu
Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa has urged Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State to get up to his tasks by curbing the actions of Fulani herdsmen within the State.
Giwa alleged that Fulani herdsmen have taken over the State.
In an announcement he signed and forwarded to DAILY POST, Giwa expressed disappointment over how Akeredolu’s administration allowed grazing and rearing of cattle within the State.
He mentioned: “Earlier than it will get out of hand, I’m calling on Governor Rotimi Akeredolu to get up and put an finish to grazing and rearing of cattle on the streets of Akure, particularly in Igoba, Akure North native authorities.
“Fulani herdsmen have taken over Akure, Igoba. Ikare, Owo and different areas in Ondo state. They’ve already occupied Igoba.
“These individuals have began naming streets after them; I foresee bother if not checked. Earlier than they begin chasing individuals from their homes, governor Akeredolu Akeredolu should do one thing very urgently.”
