Fred Kyei Mensah, a sound engineer, confirmed the news on Facebook. He claims that the musician has been ill for a while. However, the precise reason for his demise is still unknown.

The post on Facebook read;

“He had a stint with a lot of brands before joining the Sweet Talks Band and Smart Nkansah and then his band, Ahenfo. His hit songs Juliana and Obi ba wiase cannot be forgotten”.
