Uti Nwachukwu, a media personality, has explained why men shouldn’t get married before turning 40.
The reality TV personality thinks that males should live alone for a significant amount of time before getting married.
In a recent interview with his colleague Toke Makinwa, he made this disclosure.
In his words:
“When it comes to deciding on getting married, I am not certain if I would be at the same age as Kamala Harris. One should only get married when they feel ready and prepared for such a commitment. I personally don’t support the idea of being in a monogamous relationship when one is still young, but there are always exceptions to every rule. Do you comprehend my viewpoint?”
“While there might be a few individuals for whom monogamy would work in their youth, I have always held the belief that an average person shouldn’t consider getting married before they turn 40. This is just my personal opinion, and it might not be right for everyone. In my opinion, the ideal age for a man to get married would be between 35 and 40.
“As for women, aside from those who may feel the pressure of their biological clock ticking, I believe that a woman should not get married before she turns 30. With the advancements in technology, the number of children that women aspire to have has reduced, and thus it’s important for them to experience life as a single person and weigh their options before making such a significant commitment.
“Marriage is a spiritual contract between two individuals, as well as between themselves and their deity. It is also a legal agreement that shouldn’t be entered into lightly. If one is not ready or unwilling to commit to another person, they shouldn’t make it official through any form of agreement, be it in the presence of a deity, a government, or their family. Once a commitment is made, it is essential to maintain integrity and fulfill one’s obligations, as there are no excuses for breaking such an agreement.”
