Who Is Jaylin Brazier? Suspect Arrested Over The Disappearance Of Zion Foster

Who Is Jaylin Brazier, Jaylin Brazier is the cousin of Zion Foster, the 17-year-old Eastpointe girl who has gone missing.

Jaylin was apprehended and charged with homicide and perjury.

Foster was last seen by her mother at their Eastpointe home, but her last known whereabouts was with Brazier on the evening of Jan. 4, when they were hanging out at his house, an allegation Brazier rejected.

The perjury charges are for “the statement he made to police deliberately misrepresenting them on the whereabouts of Zion Foster, the health and safety of Zion Foster, and his interaction with her,” according to Macomb County Assistant Prosecutor Steve Fox.

“I was told there was a car in Waterford based on a statement made through the mainstream media.” “It’s up to detectives in Detroit to determine if it had a direct or indirect link to the subject,” Macomb County Prosecutor Pete Lucidos said.

Brazier’s court-appointed attorney, public defender Matt Licata, said he was assigned to the case this morning.

“He’s in a nice mood.” He stated categorically that he denies the charges and that he is looking forward to his day in court,” Licata said.

Brazier faces up to four years in jail if convicted of perjury. On February 2, he’ll be back in court for a probable cause hearing. Brazier was given a cash or surety bond of $250,000. He’ll have to wear a GPS tether if he makes that link. Jaylin Brazier: Who Is She?
