Wanda Hawkins was the late Canadian rock & roll singer Ronnie Hawkins’ wife, and the couple had two children together: Robbin Hawkins and Ronnie Hawkins Jr.

Ronnie was born on January 10, 1935, in Huntsville, Arkansas.
Upon finishing high school, he proceeded to the University of Arkansas, where he studied Physical Education.
Ronnie created his first band, the Hawks, while an undergraduate, and the group toured across Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.
Hawkins went on to found the Rockwood Club in Fayetteville, which he ran.
Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, and Conway Twitty were among the senior rock and roll artists who frequented the Rockwood club.
Ronnie passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of 87.
