Man of the match Champions League – Thibaut Courtois of Real Madrid was named man of the match in the 2022 Champions League final.
There was no other candidate for the man of the match award after he produced nine saves to keep a clean sheet against Liverpool’s star-studded attack.

Courtois admitted after the game that he was the key reason his team won. He also revealed that in the lead-up to the game, he received messages on social media from fans in England suggesting that he would be humbled.
Before defeating Liverpool in the final, Real Madrid defeated PSG, Chelsea, and Manchester City. They also won the championship by defeating Liverpool in the final.
