Jim Seals Wife – Jim Seals is a guitarist and singer-songwriter.

Seals was born in Sidney, Texas, on October 17, 1941.

Seals and Dash Crofts were teenagers when they joined the Champs, an instrumental group that scored a No. 1 hit with “Tequila” in 1958. They did, however, leave the band in 1963.

In 1969, Jim Seals and his longtime bandmate Dash Crofts formed Seals & Crofts.

Diamond Girl, Summer Breeze, and Get Closer were all Top 10 pop hits for the duo.

The Seals and Crofts split up in 1980, but reformed in 1991–1992, and again in 2004, when they recorded their final album, Traces.

Seals and Seals, billed as Seals & Seals, toured from 2000 to 2008, covering their successful classics from Seals & Crofts and England Dan & John Ford Coley, Dan’s solo smashes, and a few original songs penned by the two brothers.

At the age of 80, Jim Seals died in Nashville on Monday, June 6, 2022.

Jim Seals’ wife, Ruby Jean Seals, is a musician.

In 1970, they married and remained together until Jim’s death.

Ruby and Jim Seals apparently went to Costa Rica in 1980 and have lived on a coffee farm there, as well as in Nashville and southern Florida, on and off since then.

Joshua, Juliet, and Sutherland were the couple’s three children.
