Taran Noah, her ex-husband, is an American actor best known for his role as Marcus Jason Taylor in Home Improvement, one of the longest-running sitcoms of the 1990s.

Heidi Van Pelt was born on July 11, 1968, in Missouri, a Midwestern state in the United States. Heidi spent her childhood bouncing back and forth between her split parents. Heidi finished her elementary education in Missouri and went on to two high schools, Blue Springs and Oak Park High School.

Heidi transferred to the University of Washington in Seattle in 1988 to pursue a Russian Studies program with the goal of becoming a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agent. Heidi skipped college again, this time with only one semester remaining, and founded Emergent Films.

Heidi, on the other hand, left her freshly created firm and relocated to Los Angeles. She became well-known after co-hosting a radio show called “Raw Health” on the local station. As a result, she found herself at the center of Hollywood’s party scene.

Heidi met Taran while trying to break into the Hollywood food scene with her cooking business. The couple eventually co-founded ‘Playfood,’ a vegan company that manufactures non-dairy cheese.
