Dareh Ardashes Gregorian was born on March 24, 1970, to parents Clare Russell and Vartan Gregorian in Austin, Texas, in the United States. Of the three sons of his parents, he is the youngest.
The Dareh Ardashes Vahé and Raffi, Gregorian’s two older brothers, are both musicians. His father is an academic who studied in Armenia and is also a former head of the Carnegie Corporation.
The previous president of Brown University and the New York Public Library was Dareh’s father. On the other side, his mother oversaw the adult education program at Literary Partners.
