D. R. Roach: Who Is Wynonna Judd’s Ex-Husband?

D.R. Roach served as Wynonna Judd’s bodyguard for many years.

In 2003, the couple married and divorced in December of 2007. They had been married for four years at the time.

D.R. Roach was arrested on three counts of aggravated sexual battery on a minor under the age of 13 in Texas on March 22, 2007.

He was given a sentence of 25 years in prison without the possibility of parole.

Daniel Roach has a warrant out for his arrest in Tennessee, and he is being detained on a $750,000 bail.

According to the National Enquirer, Roach was detained at the same recovery center where Judd fought a food addiction.

Wynonna feels that by sharing her story of surviving an unspeakable betrayal, she will be able to help others. Daniel Roach, Wynonna’s ex-husband, was convicted of attempted aggravated sexual violence on a juvenile in 2007.

When Wynonna initially learnt about Roach’s arrest, she claims she was in a public place. “I’m in a golf cart in an airport, and people are pointing at me, saying, ‘Oh, she’s the girl from the 5 o’clock news.’”

Wynonna claims she went into “mother bear mode” with her own children, Elijah and Grace, after she returned home. “Within an hour, he was out of the house,” she says. “I called him anything that came to mind.” I had a little moment where I let it all hang out, and then it was over.”

Wynonna filed for divorce from the man who had once been her bodyguard five days after Roach’s arrest. Wynonna claims that the ordeal shattered her completely.
