Jack Nicklaus is the greatest golfer of all time. Nicklaus, known as the Golden Bear because of his large stature and blonde hair, has won the most major championships (18). He has 19 second-place finishes and 9 third-place finishes in majors to go along with his victories.
Nicklaus joined the Senior PGA Tour in 1990 after becoming eligible. Despite a limited schedule, he won 10 tournaments on tour, including eight majors, in six years. In 2005, he played in the Masters and The Open Championships for the final time. He was the first golfer to win the Masters twice in a row in 1966.

He won 73 PGA Tour events over his 25-year career ( 3rd most all-time ). He has won five PGA Tour Player of the Year awards, eight PGA Tour Money Leader awards, and the 2005 PGA Tour Lifetime Achievement Award.
Nicklaus was elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974. Nicklaus is now the CEO of Nicklaus Design, one of the largest golf course design and construction companies in the world.
