Candi Gauff and Corey Gauff gave birth to Cori “Coco” Gauff on March 13, 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Her parents are both from Delray Beach, Florida. Her parents both competed at the NCAA Division I level in basketball and track and field.
Coco Gauff’s father was a basketball player at Georgia State University before going into the health-care industry. Her mother, on the other hand, was a Florida State University track and field athlete. She went on to work as an instructor after that.
