This comes following the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) event on Saturday night that celebrated talents across the movie Industry.
Nse Ikpe-Etim was nominated for her remarkable performance in the Netflix Original series “Shanty Town.”
She was nominated alongside her co-star in “Shanty Town,”Ini Edo, as well asEnado Odigie(“Flawsome”), Immaculata Oko Kasum (“Ile Owo”),Ini Dima-Okojie(“Flawsome”), Queen Nwokoye (“Strained”), Scarlet Gomez (“Wura”), and Nimo Loveline (“The Planters Plantation”).
Bimbo Ademoyewas considered a strong contender for the category, thanks to her leading role in “Anikulapo.” However, it wasOsas Ighodarowho ultimately won the award for her performance in “Man of God,” another Netflix project.
