”I know I’ve caused people pain in the past” – Burna Boy says as he vows to bring joy to others for the rest of his life
Nigerian Grammy-winner, Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy has turned a new leaf and vowed to be a changed man, and improve on his compassionate and empathic interaction with people.
The Dancehall and Afrobeat star, stated this in a lengthy post on his Instagram story on Thursday, Dec 16 as he pointed out that different people could be going through serious struggles and challenges without their friends or neighbors being aware.
Burna Boy admitted that he has caused pain to people in the past, and declared that from now henceforth, he would show genuine concern towards people.
He wrote; ”THAT PERSON YOU ARE LOOKING AT RIGHT NOW
THAT STRANGER YOU AE SITTINGNEXT TO ON THE BUS OR ANYWHERE
EVEN THAT PERSON YOU LAUGH AND JOKE WITH WHENEVER YOU MEET
THEY COULD BE GOING THROUGH THE WORST KIND OF HELL AND YOU WILL NOT KNOW UNTIL THEY ARE GONE
I KNOW I’VE CAUSED PEOPLE PAIN IN THE PAST BUT I SWEAR ON EVERYTHING FOR MY REMAINING DAYS IN THIS WORLD, I WILL ALWAYS MEAN IT FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEAT WHEN I ASK ”HOW ARE YOU DOING” AND I WILL ALWAYS BE THE CAUSE OF JOY TO OTHERS NO MATTER WHAT.”
