Brian Judd, Naomi’s 17-year-old brother, died of leukemia in 1965. Wynonna Judd, a singer, and Ashley Judd, a film and stage actress, are her children. She and her daughter Wynonna Judd later created The Judds, a well-known singing duo.

They were nominated for five Grammy Awards and received numerous other awards. With the Judds’ smash “Love Can Build a Bridge,” she received a Grammy for country song of the year.
After being diagnosed with Hepatitis C, Naomi Judd’s time with the Judds came to an abrupt end. This occurred in 1991, when they had sold over 20 million albums and videos in seven years and were at the pinnacle of their career. In 1993, Naomi Judd received the American Academy of Achievement’s Golden Plate Award.
