A video shows Yeni Kuti, the daughter of legendary Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, dancing enthusiastically and writhing her waist during a birthday celebration has gone viral online.
The video of the 61-year-old dancer and singer furiously wiggling her butt was posted on her Instagram page, and it elicited conflicting responses online.
The single mother threw all her concerns aside when she heard the song and she and two other women began dancing wildly.
The video’s caption read, “Chaiii!!! Free Your mind o!!! was played by a DJ. We liberated both our bodies and brains.
