2 Year Old Starved to Death – The parents and uncle of a 2-year-old girl were arrested on Wednesday, May 11 after she was starved to death, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
On Wednesday at the Polk County jail, Regis Johnson, 57, and Arhonda Tillman, 35, were arrested and charged with one count of negligent child abuse inflicting grave harm. Frank Robinson, 64, was also arrested and charged with serious charges of child abuse.

According to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, the toddler had been hungry for a long time and was discovered dead in an inflatable pool that had been converted into a makeshift playpen at Johnson’s home.
Judd described the girl as “bones and skin,” which he described as heartbreaking to behold. According to Judd, the daughter, who was born on July 25, 2019, should have weighed 32 pounds at the time of her death.
Both parents said they tried to feed the toddler in the days leading up to her death, but she refused to eat and would “only swallow a few nibbles.”
