Bob Lanier Wife: Who Is Rose Lanier?

Rose Lanier is the late American professional basketball player Bob Lanier, who was a member of the Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Rose Lanier is a private person who wishes to keep her identity hidden.

Her late husband Bob, on the other hand, was a well-known basketball player who was elected into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1992.

Bob averaged 20.1 points per game, 10.1 rebounds per game, 3.1 assists per game, 1.5 blocks per game, and 1.1 steals per game in 14 NBA seasons while shooting 51.4 percent from the floor.

Bob appeared in eight NBA All-Star Games, winning the game’s Most Valuable Player award in 1974.

Both the Pistons and the Bucks retired Bob’s No. 16 jersey, and St. Bonaventure University retired his No. 31 jersey. He was also named an NBA ambassador.

Bob was a three-time Converse All-America pick in college, playing under coach Weise at St. Bonaventure from 1968 to 1970.

Bob was selected Coach and Athlete Magazine Player of the Year and ECAC Player of the Year in 1970 after leading St. Bonaventure to the NCAA Final Four.

Bob Lanier, who was 2.08 meters tall and was Rose’s husband, died on Tuesday, May 1, 2022, after a brief illness.
